TON on one of the NPR stations in my area giving air time to
heavy duty Foley spin control.

Character and Ethics in the November Elections: Talk of the Nation, October 4, 2006

NPR's Ken Rudin examines some of the scandals plaguing Washington, and their importance for Republicans in November's mid-elections.

Andy Kohut, Director of the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press.

Joe Watkins, Republican strategist, member of first President Bush's administration; works in government relations at the law firm Buchanan Ingersoll and Rooney.

Should have been called the "Foley Spin control Show".

Fund drive? Bwahhaahaahahahaahaa. Hee he he. Hoo ha he. Rich. That's rich.

2. Where is the HRC - they (and everyone else) who can
speak about it needs to get out in front on this re-labeling of Foley from sick predator to simply gay.

3. The spoke only in very oblique terms about Foley,
What they said over and over was that they have to vote republican because they are conservative christians (WTF! they did say that!!) and the pubs make all the right noises about their issues.

Also, that the current scandals (no names please) would not affect the turnout.

Spinning like a top.

4. Since Tomlinson took over CPB, NPR has gone the way of Faux.
After Tomlinson resigned with a full-tilt scandal (what a surprise), Cheryl Halpern keeps steering NPR to the right.
