http://fresnobee.com/opinion/story/12852956p-13536157c.htmlThe Valley needs and deserves representatives in Congress who are passionate and hard-working. For the most part, we have that. But in the 19th Congressional District, Rep. George Radanovich has become, in his 12 years in office, a poster child of a do-nothing member in a do-little body.
Fortunately a positive alternative is at hand for voters in the 19th District: T.J. Cox. Cox is a smart and passionate candidate with an impressive private-sector résumé and a keen understanding of the issues most important to Valley residents. The Bee recommends his election on Nov. 7.
... Radanovich, by contrast, has had 12 years in Congress to achieve something — anything — and has yet to deliver. He brags about transportation dollars he has brought home, but his efforts have delivered a mere fraction of what other representatives have secured. He speaks of the need to be in Congress for "20 years" or so before any effective leadership is possible — this from a man who promised in his first campaign not to serve beyond 10 years.
