Contessa Brewer Attacked on MSNBC
Did anyone else just see some crazy person attacking Contessa Brewer on the news a couple minutes ago. I forget his name, but he was ranting like a lunatic, yelling at Contessa (who I actually think does a pretty good job), and making himself and the Republicans look like a bunch of losers.

Anyway, just thought it was funny.

Your pal,
Eric

2. Luckily, no.
No, not physically. He was just yelling at her, basically blaming her and the media for the whole Foley scandal. What a dork!

3. "blaming her and the media for the whole Foley scandal"
Typical Repuke! They never get angry at what the GOP does - no matter if it's perverted or even criminal - but they get FURIOUS at the media for reporting it. :eyes:

5. No not physically...
He (Steve Malzber talk show host) was ranting for the GOP that the Dems scandel, and Mike Malloy was on to discuss the Foley, Malzberg was horrible to condessa, and laughed all the way through when Mike was talking. Hyenna laugh...ignorant...
Mike finally said, I don't know why I am here, Steve interupts constantly, is overbearing with host and Malloy ..Malzburg is hanging himself says Malloy. She said, I feel like I don't need to be here either, but I get paid, so have to stay..
They didn't bring them back for a second segment..because of Malzburg. My goodness never saw such an interview...I recored it...just unbelievable

8. Glad someone else saw it
I'm glad to hear that someone else saw it. It was quite hilarious. If that guy is any indication, the Republicans are scared shitless, and they're starting to panic.

And Contessa's so cute, too. How could they attack her of all people?

9. Yeah, I saw it too and I think she handled him pretty good...
Edited on Sun Oct-08-06 01:38 PM by jhrobbins
she was pretty clear that she wasn't going to let him run the interview and do what thos guys always do when they aren't winning the reasonable argument - they try and overtalk the other person and they laugh at the other person (like he was also doing) - it's that condescending laugh that makes you want to slap the guy.

I've seen him a lot before , but I don't remember his name either.

I thought and refused to get down on his level.

11. I love what Republicans are doing to themselves
showing their true stripes... whatta bunch of idiotic thugs.

Good for Contessa.... she stood up to Imus and his pathetic gang of rascist/sexist stooges
and she can certainly stand up to Rove's loudmothed operatives. Go Contessa

12. You all missed the 2nd segiment.....it was at the very end of the show.
Even better than the first part. Hopefully someone caught it.

Methinks the e-mails/letters of appreciation going to MSNBC and Keith Olbermann are paying off.

I admit, I've been flipping back and forth between the news and football. What happened in the 2nd segment?

16. The subject of arming school teachers.
Maltzberg did much the same thing as the first segiment, attempting to loudly overtalk and do the hyena laughing with Malloy and Contessa. This really needs a re-play. Maltzberg looked like he might be in FAUX studios and Contessa commented that it sounded like he had his own personal cheering squad behind him.

15. Contessa Rocks!
I just sent MSNBC a letter myself, telling them that I liked Contessa for standing up to the Republican morons (I worded it better than that in my letter). I agree that we should let them know when we see a newsperson doing the right thing.

I know that the news seems to have a Republican slant a lot, but ultimately they just want viewers and good ratings. Let's let them know when we like something, and they'll do more of it!

Your pal,
Eric

18. She was standing next to the weather guy on one segment today and....
... trust me, she is anything but fat! She's very thin, very fit, and very attractive. Also, I agree with others here that she handled that asshole really WELL!

That Malzberg creep has to be a total crazed lunatic!! ----> His disgusting ((((LOUD)))) loud nervous laughter was an attempt to try and drown out Malloy's responses when it was his turn.

... ... ... ...

After making such a total jackass of himself, for Malzberg to start screaming to Contessa "that's why your station is last" was definitely her last straw and kudos to her in how she handled him!

She tried to shut the SOB up earlier, but when he started spewing crap about the station itself - you know Contessa had someone screaming in her ear piece to get rid of the shithead.

I guess Malzberg can spend the rest of his television cameos on only FAUX news in the future. I can't imagine any other station inviting such a lowlife on!

23. Contessa
When they talked about Jesus Camp she said that when she was a little girl she had to go door to door to proselytize and that it wasn't good for the children.
