Yeah, I feel a lot safer since this guy took charge.

NOT.

1. Who expects planes to slam into buildings?

2. Right. It happened before, and it just happened again.
He has led us to believe this sort of thing wouldn't happen again while he is in charge. Bullshit.

4. That is my point. One leader isn't better than another when it
comes to protecting against this sort of thing.

But Bush sells himself as if only HE can prevent this stuff. When really, no one can.

So, voting for a Democrat will NOT make us "less safe".

6. We have a winner! Now, will the Democrats use it?
He said only he and his pals could keep something like this from happening again.

Well, it just happened again. Plane meets building, goes boom.

7. Right...that's exactly the point. If he's made us so safe, why are
planes still flying into buildings?

What if that plane had been piloted by someone meaning harm?

We are NO safer under Bush.

8. hopefully not
its a silly argument. No one is claiming that they can prevent accidents from happening. He's claiming that he can prevent people from intentionally crashing planes into buildings. Personally, I don't think he can prevent it unless he completely destroys all of our freedoms, which I'm sure he'd be willing to do -- and which is why we must elect a Democratic congress.

But making silly arguments that can easily be knocked down doesn't help elect Democrats.
