WASHINGTON (AP) - Democratic Rep. John Murtha, the decorated Marine veteran who favors withdrawing U.S. troops from Iraq, will campaign against the congresswoman who labeled him a coward.

Murtha will travel to Cincinnati on Saturday to campaign for Victoria Wulsin, the Democrat challenging Rep. Jean Schmidt.

Last November, Schimdt was booed off the House floor when she delivered a message to Murtha, a Vietnam War veteran who was elected to Congress in 1974. "Cowards cut and run, Marines never do," she said.

The Pennsylvania congressman, a military hawk and close confidant of top military officials, surprised Washington last year when he called for pulling all troops out of Iraq within months.

She is a vile waste of flesh and hair.. Unfortunatly, this area is very republican and she will probably be reelected.

However, she won her seat by a slim margin agenst Paul Hackett. and the democrats pissed off a whole lot of people (me included) when they sidelined him for S Brown in the senate.

Mr. Murtha is one of the greatest Americans I've had the privilege of hearing about (and Shrub is one of the least greatest). I would love to hear a one-on-one debate between John Murtha and Shrub about Iraq (and no wires allowed).
Here's a sample:

Shrub: Uh, you want to cut and run, uh. We're bringing freedom to Iraq, uh, the people of Iraq need us, uh, we have to get rid of the evil-doers. We have to fight them over there so we won't fight them over here, uh, you want to cut and run, uh.
