2. I called both Fienstien and Boxer today and told them the Democratic Party
needed to show some backbone for a change! Unfortunately I was calling about the disenfranchisement of voters in Ohio. Not sure what happened their more dirty tricks from the party of Tricky Dick Nixon?

October 17, 2006,Will be remembered as the Enabling day of the 21st Century!
"The government will make use of these powers only insofar as they are essential for carrying out vitally necessary measures..."
~Adolf Hitler, March 23, 1933, before the German Parliament (Reichstag) as he urged them to pass his "Enabling Act"

Got Fascism Yet?

In my family runs diabetes, Alzheimer's, heart disease and mental illness - ALL of which could benefit from stem-cell research. Yet the SICK, SELF-CENTERED fundie fucktards will CONTINUE to attempt to impose their will in the name of THEIR God! If THEIR God is a sick fucking sadist, then I will NEVER want any part of it!!!!

4. We need to make sure everyone sees this on youtube.
Recommend this thread, then send it out to all your email list. If we can make this one of the top rated videos on YouTube, and if it gets wide circulation, we can get this out so it benefits all other democrats before the election.

Kicked and recommended.

6. Very powerful ad, but it's really heartbreaking to see what's
happened to him. It's pathetic that politicians are so willing to kill a man that they believe has done wrong, but refuse to help a man who desperately needs it.

8. OMG, that makes me want to scream and cry at the same time!
I remember Michael Fox from that television series way back when. I remember reading his story in, I don't know what magazine, where he talked about the onset and progression of his disease.

Are we a Christian nation? I look at Michael Fox and I wonder how any Christian could condemn someone to this fate. And I don't believe that crap about will of God or other such bullshit.

I cannot bear to watch that ad again. Cannot bear it.

9. That made me cry. He is SO right.
For those of us who hang onto hope of cure from stem cells... I'm a Type 1 diabetic. And that asshole chose one thing, ONE THING, to veto, out of how fucking many? I hate him. So, so much. He's taken more hope out of this world.... fucker.

12. That was a sad commercial
I remember when Fox was still on Spin City, when he first getting the symptoms of his hogkins all he had to do was control by making eye expressions, now it has gotten worse and he can't even control his own body anymore.

The repukes care about saving "the unborn life" when it comes to stem-cell research but what about the people like Michael J.Fox who is already living, just tell him to fuck off?

Stem cell research is important cause it can save lives and give people hope, too bad the Repukes don't know this.

15. The Michael J Fox Foundation has funded $80 mil for PD research
Bush's vetoing the stem cell legislation undermined a lot of work on the part of MJF and others.

Hats off to Michael Fox for getting involved and taking a stand against the fake president.
