Does every state have Early Voting now a days?
I know we have it in FL. I was wondering about other states.

If your state does have Early Voting, I strongly encourage everyone to vote at EV, rather then with an absentee ballot.

Voting in person is much better then by absentee ballot for a number of reasons. The biggest one being is if you run into any kinds of problem when you go to vote, you still have time to do something about it. With an absentee ballot, you may never know there was even a problem.

Second, it's a lot harder to steal your vote when you vote in person.

So let's get off our asses and go to Early Voting and make sure we kick the Repugs out of Congress. Too much is at stake to take any chances.

2. Not Alabama. And that's not all...
They make absentee voting as convoluted and complicated and error-prone as is humanly possible.

4. Do you still need a witness?
In Florida they got rid of that requirement and it was a very bad idea. The Repugs come down here and harvest absentee votes in a number of ways. They don't have to hack the machines, they do it before election day instead. Any hacking on election night is probably last minute tweaking.

6. Absentee ballots must be filled in with a #2 pencil
in Virginia.

Tell me that's better than the machines. I think not.

7. Same here. And they send you the pencil with absentee ballot.
It's a tiny little thing.
About 3" long and as big around as an old fashioned ball point pen REFILL.
Not a ballpoint.
The slim refill cartridge.
About 1/16th" in diameter.
I can imagine a crippled arthritic hand trying to grip it.

8. We have it in Georgia and its..
..so much easier.

I serve as a poll worker and it has made it easy to vote.

I suspect that people who don't like Diebold (I'm ambivalent) won't like it though.

By the way - if you can take the time, please volunteer to be a poll worker.

11. Is that the only way you can vote
or do they also open the polls on election day too?

What are the differences with Oregon's system has opposed to places where you can vote absentee?
