If you could only win back either the House or the Senate which....
would you choose?

For me it would be the Senate because the US can not survive another RW toadie on the Supreme Court.

As much as I like the idea of Dead-eye Dick and Awol boy getting booted out of the White House the damage to the Courts would take decades to undo.

1. I want 'em both.
And the larger the margin, the better.

(But yes, especially the Senate, when it comes to SCOTUS noms. Good point.)

2. 'WE' NEED BOTH to put an end to the neocon reign of terror.....
on our country. ALSO the WH and SCOTUS desperately need a neocon cleansing.

3. Both are crucial
Senate cause they approve appointments to various positions like the circuit court or the Supreme court.

House cause well it's just a fucking mess down there, that is where most of the corruption lies.

4. Obviously we DUers want them to win both, but given the choice
I'd go with the Senate. We can't afford any more idiotic conservatives on the Supreme Court, and we will have new chairmen on every committee.

5. Senate, because Sen Pat "Cover-Up" Roberts needs to lose his chair
That Bush cover-up artist has done so much to screw the country over by his endless protection of Bushco.

6. I agree - Senate for one reason: THE JUDGES!
Federal judges serve for life. Just about anything else the House and Senate do can be subsequently reversed or remedied. But a bad federal judge stays long after the president and particularl Congress are gone. Only the Senate can stop bad judges so, if I had to choose, I'd pick the the Senate.
