1 Issue Enough To Oust DeWine
Plain Dealer columnist Dick Feagler hits one out of the park

And frankly, it's going to be a one- issue vote. I'm going to vote for Sherrod because he is against this lousy war, and was from the beginning. That's enough for me.

...

Sherrod is abrasive. He speaks his mind. He has a philosophy. He is thought by some to be left of center.

Great. Lay it all out there. If we're going to survive, we have to return to the days when congressmen stood for something besides their own pensions and lobbyist payoffs. That has been the status quo, and the status quo stinks.

1. Dick Feagler tells it like it is.
Sherrod Brown does the same.

2. OK, Ohio DUers -- pass the word . . .
Balckwell is dry and DeWine is sour.

4. Not being a native of the Cleveland area, I have noticed that
the people in Cleveland revere what Flagler says

5. Most of the time, they do
And they put his column today on the front page of the Forum section, so you couldn't help but read it before turning the page and seeing the DeWine endorsement.

Feagler has had his weak moments, he was inordinately upset of Clinton and the Monica Lewinsky scandal, but he got over it eventually.

6. Overall, Feagler is a decent, clear thinker who has not been afraid
in column after column to say he's against the war and thinks it's pointless. He has a very down-to-earth way of looking at things, too--so he gets respected even by people who don't agree with him on everything. I always enjoy reading what he has to say because he pulls no punches.
