Bush predicts republican pickups and wins in midterm election
Either this motherfucker is delusional or they have something up there sleeve like another diebolt election steal. for a President to keep saying the republicans will pickup seats and retain power so confident when the poll numbers say other wise there is something big coming they have planned. mark my word. http://www.abcnews.go.com/ThisWeek/story?id=2594994&page=1

I could be wrong, but I don't think there's anything big coming, it's just more of his Katrina bullshit. Ignore it, deny it, maybe it will go away.

It's not close enough to steal this time, he's just not smart enough to recognize that.

They're being smug for a reason. They have all the laws in place they need to hold on to power, even without Diebold. But I don't think they're ready to resort to their police-state tactics just yet. They'll save those for 2008 when they try to install Jebbie or Condi.
