I saw a Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker today
in the mall parking lot. It looked NEW, not tattered or worn. When I came back from the store, there was a car parked next to me with a sticker which read, "I am a Pro Choice Mom and I VOTE."

Impressive. We are gearing up. I have also noticed that all those "Support the Troops" ribbons are becoming few and far between.

Dare we hope?

1. I see dozens of them every day.
I don't think anybody around here removed them after the election. And some do look new, so maybe they had spares and put them on when the old ones peeled. But I see at least 20 Kerry/Edwards stickers for every Bush/Cheney sticker.

2. I still see a decent number of Kerry stickers and few Bush stickers
I still have my Kerry stickers on and they are staying on. If they got tattered or I had to get a new car I have some fresh ones waiting in storage.

5. My wife's car still has a Clinton/Gore sticker. the car is
an 88 model, so the sticker could be 14 years old.

7. Now that's old school
I'm amazed the CAR has lasted that long, let alone the sticker!

9. It's an old Dodge Colt that has been driven hard. It has been
wrecked several times, none her fault. I think it has stayed on so long because it is on a rubberized bumper. It leaks oil, the AC is kaput, the interior plastic is crumbling, but it starts every time.

12. Oh wow
Sounds worse than my father's old car. He used to have an 88 mazda and finally had to get rid of it a couple of years ago.

13. She used to drive it back and forth between Lexington Ky and
Nashville. When she hits the highway, she puts the pedal to the metal, pegging the speedometer. It is amazing the engine is still running. It still has less than 100,000 miles.

3. How does your Congressional race look?
Always Dem?

Mine is always Republican. But we at least had a run this year, my guy for Congress won't win but the Senate race gives me great hope (in Virginia).

8. I see tons of K/E stickers here -- some new, some old.
A few W or Bush stickers. However, sometimes the W ones are actually take-offs like Wtf or Wiretap or Worstever, etc.

10. I still have mine on the car
I thought about finally taking it off when I added a "Chris Bell for Governor" sticker the other day, but I decided I should keep it on as a protest until Shrub is out of the White House. I rarely see Kerry stickers anymore, but the "W '04"'s aren't all that common, either. I'd have to question the intelligence/sanity of anyone still sporting one of those "W" ovals at this point, but I guess the members of the 33- or 35- percent (or whatever the number would be exactly) club are proud to be stupid.

11. Oh sure
I still see them around here in Tennessee. Just a week or so ago I was going to Panera Bread for lunch and saw an eldery lady getting into her car and she had a Kerry/Edwards sticker on her front bumper. :)

14. I still have mine on...
and it's not tattered or worn.

If it was, I'd replace it. It still looks new.
