What's going on with IN-7?
According to today's polls, Dem Congresswoman Julia Carson is running behind Republican Eric Dickerson, an auto dealer. Is there an issue with Carson that I'm not aware of?

1. Health.
I love Julia!

But there is a perception that her health is interfering with her ability to function well. The local newspaper endorsed her--but really almost as a lesser of two evils call. It said that she was rambling and disjointed during discussions with the paper.

Nevertheless, she gets my vote.

And remember, she's defied expectations, and the polls, before.

2. The GOP always brings up Julia's health ...
... because she's missed a few votes for 'health reasons'. :eyes:

Her crew usually GOTV's pretty impressively when it's all said and done, though.

3. I hope not
When this guy said he was running the Star News said that Evan Bayh was his good friend. Repug lite Bayh did acknowledge that. Those in Julia's district are the only ones in the state who don't give Lugar a landslide.
