I see math, science, history, philosophy, and maybe 90 percent literature from all over the world, many titles in PDF format. I've heard of Project Gutenberg, of which this apparently is a part. Unfortunately, I was asked for a username and password when I tried to download my first "free" title, but even at $9 a year it looks like a good URL to bookmark.

Many of the titles seem like the kind that could be accessed free by Googling. I saw several titles I've already downloaded for free elsewhere. Clicking through this URL has given me many titles I may try googling:
