Media Matters: NY Times "Stays the Course" For Lieberman

NY Times falsely reported Lieberman never "utter the words 'stay the course' "

In an October 24 New York Times article, reporters Jennifer Medina and Anne E. Kornblut wrote of Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman's (CT) stated positions on the Iraq war: "Never, in the statements reviewed, did Mr. Lieberman utter the words 'stay the course.' " In fact, Lieberman has uttered those exact words about Iraq several times.

2. Arthur Sulzberger, Jr.'s Kosher Mafia at work

Remember that it was Sulzberger that provided a forum for prowar propaganda by the likes of Judith Miller and Tom Friedman. It was Sulzberger that gave front page coverage to every neocon lie that came out of the likes of Paul Wolfowitz and Douglas Feith, to name only two of this large cabal of criminals. It was Sulzberger that buried in the back pages of the NY Times any story that questioned the regime's claims of WMD in Iraq.

Why should we act surprised when the same Sulzberger has his minions defend Joe Lieberman?
