At 26%,Chris Bell, the Democrat in the Texas gubanatorial race, is now only ten points behind Governor Rick Perry who is leading the flock with 36%.

2. I'd sure take a Chris Bell win over a win by that puke Perry.
No doubt about it.

We're pullin' for ya, you brave Texas Democrats.

3. I get Texas TV
Although I live in Louisiana, we receive TX TV stations and I have never seen a single Bell commercial. I see grandma at least once an hour and I have seen a few Kinky ads but NEVER one for Chris Bell.

4. Maybe the Dems will wake up
and start funding him in light of these polls.

7. That's interesting
I've finally started seeing Bell ads fairly often in the last couple of weeks; I think it's due to the extra funds his campaign has gotten since his successful debate performance. I haven't seen a Kinky ad in quite a while, but Perry and Strayhorn ads are constants with Bell ads occasionally. It may have to do with the media market (the campaign is probably spending more on the Democratic-leaning areas); I can see my traditionally Democratic area (Beaumont/Port Arthur area) going for Bell if the turnout is good. Sanchez didn't do very well four years ago, but it was hard for most Dems to feel any enthusiasm for him; plus, Perry is even less popular this time around.

5. Vote Democratic --
or you're voting for neocons, fear, division, corruption, hypocrisy, deception, manipulation and incompetence (etc).

There are no (valid) excuses this time around.

None.

8. I see a SHITLOAD of anti-Bell ads in the red, red suburbs of North Dallas.
Amazing. I'm guessing there must be real concern by the Republicans otherwise why would they buy in such a market?

But I don't think I've seen ONE Bell ad either.

9. Too bad Strayhorn...
couldn't pull it off because overall she's as much a Democrat as anything.
