Biden backs Lamont but won't campaign against Lieberman
...Biden also said that while he was supporting his party's candidate for the Senate in Connecticut, Ned Lamont, he would not campaign against Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman, who is running as an independent following his defeat in the August primary.

Biden said Lieberman is a "close personal friend," that his son and Lieberman's son attended Yale together, and that his daughter-in-law was the matron of honor at Lieberman's son's wedding.

"It's a matter of personal honor," he said. "It's not possible for me to campaign against Joe Lieberman."

2. Good ol' "which way is the wind blowing" Joe Biden
(aka "how does my hair look on-camera" Joe) is showing us his spine again. See? He can actually take it out and pass it around! Kinda like a Slinky.

3. Every time I see Biden pontificating, he always
sounds like he's going to do the right thing...until the "however" crops up. Message to Biden: The honorable thing would be to wholeheartedly support the nominee of your party for the Senate seat, and tell your close personal friend Lieberman that betraying one's party by ignoring the will of the Democratic primary voters and running as an independent is something you can't and won't support.

4. Just like he "promised" Bush he wouldn't politicize Iraq war in 2004 campaign.
Funny how Biden's honorable actions always benefit HIS future plans.

5. What a jackass. Actually, isn't he in direct defiance of the will of the people?
Bet the people of Connecticut LOVE that Joe puts the WILL OF THE PEOPLE second to his bullshit allegiance.

"It's a matter of personal honor"

Honor? What a joke.

If this national nightmare has taught us anything it's who is AUTHENTIC and who isn't.

6. It shows UTTER DISDAIN for the primary process and Dem voters.

And THAT is the aspect I find to be unforgivable because it is ESSENTIALLY undemocratic.

8. Biden typifies
the Democratic Party's monied interests. The Party may be publically "supporting" Lamont but behind the scenes and the real actual power, is supporting Leiberman.
