The local News reported today - the GOP is "changing focus" to Georgia election...
...to focus on several U.S. House Freshman seats, here in Georgia, that they think they can "win." These are seats they lost in 2004 in several rather surprising Democratic victories. This was reported on my Local Public Radio news, though I don't have a link to the story : <http://www.wabe.org/newsroom/>

Sounds to me like they are going to use the power of Diebold to steal back these House seats, seats that I don't think they payed any attention to in 2004.

Anyone have any contacts in any Polling organizations? We should really make sure we have some good polling numbers in these districts BEFORE this election!

1. These seats dropped off the radar months ago
Early on, there was talk that these might be competitive races, but the GOP never really made a race of it. Both seats are rated as "Lean Democratic" so we are in pretty good shape.

3. There's no being "pretty good shape" here in Georgia with Diebold counting...
...the paperless votes!

That's what I'm saying, we need to pay more attention to these races, because if Rove is looking for a few token victories, this is the easiest place to get them.

4. Changing the game plan this close to the election
is a sign of desperation.

A lot of people have already voted. It's too late to change very many minds.

5. The diebolders certainly screwed up in 2002...total scam election
that cost Max Cleland his seat in the Senate. I shope he runs again in 2008...if we can get the seats in 2006 to require paper ballots. We should have known the the Pugs did not care about the handicapped; the HAVA law was the Diebold Law act.
