Kerry out there campaigning for certain candidates. Kerry may not be the best politician in the world, but I admire him for not simply toting the party line and supporting all Democrats.

That's ALOT of Dems.

He seems tp be giving most support to vets and those who were less known and with the toughest races.

How many politicians in any generation get the Presidential nomination of their party? He also came within 60,000 votes in Ohio of winning - in spite of having a media (other than print) that was very biased in Bush's favor.

But nonetheless, his political skills are increasing exponentially!

Kerry has ALWAYS been the person to jump in front of the bullets meant for others. It's who he IS his entire adult life, not an adopted affectation for 2006.

You help him out and he never, ever forgets. That's what I've seen in NH. He's been there for small races as well as the bigger races because he remembers how hard those candidates worked to help him in '04.

It is politically smart to be genuine and to repay kindness and support, but is also the mark of a good person. We don't have enough good people who can also be good politicians. Kerry's unique in that he's both. He may have made mistakes but he's never been one to sit and cry over spilled milk. He learns why the milk spilled and takes steps to ensure that it never happens again.

Gotta love his spunk and his idealism! He's a very good politician and he is getting better by the moment.
