"Because of Iraq" ad (Wes Clark)
DAMN!

Clark is intense! I am most favorably impressed by Clark's appearance in that ad. It's very powerful, and I've seen it twice in the past two days.

1. Hi janx. How's it goin'?

I see you voted early. I voted absentee, since I'm still registered in Colorado, tho currently stuck in Syracuse.

BTW, I attended a rally for Dan Mattei up here yesterday, and saw Wes. I got video, and am now in the process of trying to figure out how to upload to YouTube. :hi:

2. Hey Crunchy!
Yep, I voted early here in NM with a dear friend and mentor of mine. The place was jumping. I had to vote early because I teach all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays--leave at 6:00 and don't return home until almost 5:00.

Anyway, glad to hear that you got some footage of General Clark. That is one very effective ad. Judging from some RW sites I've seen today, it's the one they like the *least*... ;-)

Let everybody know when you get the video uploaded, please!

3. Will do.
I actually have a short clip of Dan Mattei speaking that I was able to upload. You can see it here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XDyroib-mQ

I haven't got the main video up yet because I apparently don't have any video editing software on my computer (old computer) and I'm not sure how to go about getting some.

I was very impressed with Dan, and hope that he manages to win this race.

5. They should like it the least
The idea of Vets, a general, and thus, active duty people voting Dem. creates a flutter deep in their little evil hearts. A realignment among the military would dig deep into their base, and take away that White Guy edge. Yep.

Wes Clark may be new at politics, but he's learned quickly. VoteVets was formed months ago with Clark on their board, and out there raising money for a series of great ads. The body-armour ad just zapped George Allen. And then of course there's the ad with the people asking questions of the bush. That is by September Group--Soros, Ickes, and Clark.

The Democrats owe thanks to many people this cycle: the netroots (without us there would be no Webb and Tester on the ballot), all of the work done by volunteers, some great candidates, and yes, many party leaders who have worked hard including Wes Clark. <---often under the radar.

4. It's so simple and straightforward. It works.
Could Clark be the dark horse this time around?

I hope they run it frequently in the next 24 hours.
