Difference is now down to about 1,500 in favor of Webb...

But, most of the unreported precincts are overwhelmingly Dem. Looks like the last Allen strongholds are reporting.

Also, provisional ballots have not been counted, and these should also break Dem.

A state-provided recount will only take place IF the difference is less than 0.5% AND after the election has been certified (meaning the after the provisionals are considered).

All told, I think it continues to look very promising to Webb!

to concede, saying he shouldn't be a bad sport, and just get it over with. Does anyone but me remember how HEAVILY, how BULLISH Allen was every five minutes the morning after the '04 election, like a school yard bully...trying to shove JK out of the way quickly as possible.

'Isn't it ironic' Allen NOW wants a recount...is flying in big-shot attorneys. Could Mr. Allen be the 'bad sport?' (Can't take his own advice?)

As the Karmic wheel spins. I DO believe Allen TRULY lost, but he has a LOT of "beltway" Power. So the votes COULD tip his way, true or not.
