Wow! Clark eBlockers called 20,000+ people today
In the morning, the totals calls counter was at around 170,000; now it's over 190,000.

I think I clocked in with around 180 today; 350+ for the weekend. We rock folks! Combined with everyone calling from TN itself and from phone banks in NYC, we will personally be in touch with a huge proportion of TN! Great work, everyone!

1. I made 40 calls yesterday.
I had OK results. A few wrong numbers and several messages left. One day to go.

3. I had a LOT of "1"s
Just like with Oklahoma. Most people like Clark--at least, most African-American folks (I concentrated on them). We just have to make sure that we get to enough of the undecideds, who would otherwise just vote for who they're seeing on the news all of the time. I swear that that is the main base of Kerry's and Edwards' support.

4. Be careful, that backfired bigtime on Dean
People got so sick of being called they began leaving their phone off the hook.

5. Couldn't call today
Will make up for that with 100 calls tomorrow, 50 to each state. Then I get ready for the California Primary and winning delegates for Wes out West.

6. I am on my best behavior calling people in the South
It is good practice for life. I try to be considerate, I make sure that I am not interrupting anyone at meal time. I ask for their permission to tell them a few reasons why I believe in General Clark. I express gratitude to them for taking some time to listen to me. I do not make hard sell arguments. The LAST thing I want to do is come off like a rude Yankee. I even try to slow down my rapid speech a little, but I always keep it real. I will not be an outsider delivering another canned speech to these people. Sometimes I say that electing Clark is important enough to me that I am risking having strangers hang up on me, which is never easy to put yourself through.
