Hey MCain!!! Go back to your home on whore island!!!!
That look on Mcain's face following the election can be attributed to the fact that he became a whore. I would say given the results he just realized it. In the political climate leading up to 2000 he built his reputation on being a meverick. That's what many Americans wanted in their politicians, a public servant with a bent for individuality.

Leading up to the 04 elections and after, he become nothing more than a whore. He was willing to sell himself out to the lowest bidder in politics today; Bush and his rightwing bushbot goosesteppers.

America just rejected the Agenda of Bush and the repigious right in droves. The GOPs most promising face for 08 just realized his prospects for election are nil. Nevermind the media ever taking the time to actually report this fact. They are still promoting him as their front runner for 08.

The Republicans have no credible candidates for 08;

1)Mitt Romney left MA in a state of disaster and his successor just got creamed.

2) Allen has not shot after the Maccaca incident and publicized defeat.

3) Giulliani has no experience and a closet full of baggage stemming from the NYPD to various sexual romps as mayor of NY. Top off the fact that he has no tangeble experience in national politics.

4) Mcain is now a guy who will sell himself to anyone just to remain relevant. He's a snakeoil salesmen.

Who does the GOP have left?

1. I agree with you on all but Guilianni
I think he is the one to watch, I think the Repugs are willing to hold their nose for
someone they think has crossover power. To them, he was a hero on 9/11;
he has a more centrist pull due to his pro-choice leanings, he is fairly charismatic, well known nationally, and is a party man - to a degree. His sexual escapades are damaging, but didn't he marry her? I'm thinking that will help- when it comes down to the fundies.....
I personally don't care for the man but have to say he is about in McCain's league when it comes to centrist pull; although I would agree that McCain bent over and took one for the party for the last 2-4 years. He lost whatever pull he had when he embraced Bush for that picture.
Whatever/ whomever they get, one thing is for sure, it is going to be one HELL of an election!:toast: don't you know?

2. Giulliani ran one of the most corrupt police forces
probably in the history of NY. From a group of guys shoving a mop handle up someones ass to a guy getting shit in the back 20 times for taking out his wallet.

Giulliani wasn't all that great and got the benefit of the right wing media propping him up on 9/11. Before that the folks in NY couldnt wait to be rid of him. Giullianni like the rest of his party is just as corrupt.

8. You really think white Southerners are going to vote for Gulianni?
Edited on Sat Nov-11-06 07:27 AM by Island Blue
I think the Republicans will choose former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee who appears normal on the outside, but it a batshit crazy fundie on the inside. Of course I could be wrong.

10. Giuliani stumped for Blackwell in the last couple of weeks
of the Ohio gubernatorial campaign. Appeared in TV ads walking side-by-side with Blackwell. Blackwell still went down in flames. I think Giuliani lost most of his luster since 9/11 because the skeletons in his closet have resurfaced.

7. The only face I saw up there
on that graphic yesterday was Chuck Hagel-McCain is as bad as Hillary Clinton in my eyes-no wait....WORSE.Any man who would say "Oh it's all forgiven,it's cool" to a guy and his handlers who did to him what they did with push-polling in South Carolina in 2000 is a man with no principles IMO.They all sold out and carried water for the good of their party-NOT the country.Not to mention the throwing under the bus of his friend John Kerry....
