Iraq team encountering "an astounding amount of ignorance"
to which I respond, "Duh!"

Did they think he knows what a war is? Where Iraq is? The difference between a Shiite and a Sunni? Between Iraq and Iran?

It must take all of this self control to keep from yawning or screaming or farting out loud sitting in a room where people are actually trying to get something done.

that they shield themselves off from the actual experts they need from the policy they want to formulate. For instance, this current Iraq task force has no immediate Middle Eastern educators and no input from any of those head of state ME governments the US government supports.
