There is one person who I like in terms of going by a "blind biography" method.
He was elected Governor of his home state in 1988 at age 33, and served for two terms.
He was then elected to the Senate in 1998, and re-elected in 2004.
In terms of being superficial, he does well in the looks department.
...That guy is Evan Bayh. Unfortunately, his voting record is what will prevent him from gaining enough traction amongst the netroots. Voting for the bacnkruptcy bill is not a good idea. I'm willing to forgive him for initially voting for the war, as Kerry and Edwards did so and have corrected coarse. However, he will need to do more to proove that he can be progressive enough for us to vote for him in the primaries. Regardless, I feel that his political experience is something that many of our other candidates are lacking: he has sufficient executive experience, as well as legislative experience.
