Enjoy it.

This moment is what we've all been waiting for. This is what we all worked for. This is what many of us prayed for. Today, the House will elect as it's Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a woman who has truly earned the right to use the prefix "Honorable" before her name.

Enjoy this moment, everyone. We've all earned it.

2. I am having a hard time containing my glee.

I've been watching c-span since early this morning and it has been great to see all of these Dems, and Bernie Sanders. Kendrick Meek introducing Nancy Pelosi to the Black Caucus Foundation.

I've got my nails painted blue, am wearing my Democratic Women Are the Life of the Party t-shirt.

Today is a day to celebrate!!!

3. I'm trying not to be an asshole.

My repug co-workers are walking around like they just found out they had cancer of the penis. They're absolutely miserable over this. I'm really trying to take the high road here, but it's REALLY hard to fight the urge to just rub their noses in it.

I didn't think that Bonehead would ever shut up and turn the gavel over to Madame Speaker! During his remarks he just had to get in a dig about the "democrat party". Even Bonehead isn't gonna get me down today!

Miserable? Too bad and I thought that Bonehead was gonna cry, Hastert was barely clapping and was looking like a sullen walrus.

Hang in there and you can revel in it all later?!!?
