U.S. kid copies Saddam Execution

As ye sow, so shall ye reap:

A 10-year-old U.S. boy who hanged himself may have been inspired to do it by television coverage of Saddam Hussein's execution, police said Thursday.

Relatives told police in Webster, Texas, that Sergio Pelico had seen the video of the former Iraqi leader's hanging and asked about it before the incident Sunday.

As for the first execution, witnesses say it was part of a killing spree by a Crawford man. As yet, no one is investigating.

1. The most frightening thing I ever did see in my staid suburban life.

My kids, on a rickety old manual merry go round lying flat on their backs with their heads hanging over the edge.

Kids are capable of doing incredibly stupid things. It's no wonder that conscientious mothers have periodic nervous breakdowns.
