4. I thought last week
he decided not to. Well, whatever. I love it when the nutjobs run - like Alan Keyes and Gary Bauer did. Hours of free entertainment.

Should be fun watching the Republicans out-fundy each other. That should be a real challenge for Guliani.

8. even if he's not the nominee...
the other candidates (and therefore the eventual nominee) will either have to out-crazy him for the extremist votes, making them unattractive to the overwhelming majority of voters, or they'll have to repudiate and distance themselves from his positions, costing them a lot of support from the extremist Republican (a redundancy?) base.

Either way, it'll be a great show.

10. Be careful what you wish for.
I said the same about Georgie and look what happened. We know now is bad but Sam has the potential to be much much worse for this country.

23. Add stupid and cheating and what do you get?
GWBush**. TWICE!

Yes, yes they are. Stupid because they do not look further than what the news people read to them and they trust that rather than taking the time to read up and form their own opinions. I don't get how they can live like that.

wooo hooo

What a great great Friday afternoon start to the weekend.

I'm gonna order some of those brownback for prez yard signs and magnetic ribbons for everyone else's cars (sorry, a line has to be drawn somewhere and it's not being drawn at my car).

Free brownback signs for everyone! That's the ticket.

19. More info from Wichita Eagle:
I was about to start this topic...but I'm too slow.

I saw this blurb on my hometown newspaper's site:

Brownback to announce presidential campaign

WASHINGTON - Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback will formally kick off his campaign for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination on Saturday, Jan. 20.

The announcement, to occur in Topeka, where Brownback lives, will come about six weeks after the formation of his presidential exploratory committee. Brownback's campaign headquarters is expected to be in the Kansas City area.

after dealing with Bush for all of these years, all candidates appear Rhodes scholarish! :eyes:
