THIS is why I fought so hard for democratic majority
http://reform.house.gov/

Not all the house committee sights are up and running - but I just love the fact that Waxman got the reform committee. He's gonna make a few heads roll by the time he's done issueing subpeonas!

1. Great site
but when you click on the schedule link there are no investigation scheduled at this time. It does give a great laundry list of what has been done, but the future is not yet clear.

2. I really only think they just got the websites up
and then not even for all of the committees. Some are almost blank - like the Judiciary (which that one will make me drool even more - John Conyers) and there are still a few still in the 109th congress mode.

Don't worry about it being blank. Hell Waxman has only had the office for 4 days. But he's not a guy to mess around with - he'll be one of our favorite work horses!

3. I think you are right
I guess I'm just impatient. Hell they haven't even had their 100 hours yet and I'm already looking for indictments. I am bookmarking the website though because it looks like it will be a great source of information in the months ahead.

4. That site is truly a beautiful thing!
It will be even more impressive when it's all updated and current.

And thanks for your efforts to ensure a Democratic majority, we are all reaping the rewards of those efforts now.

7. How does all of that stop the Iraq war?
If Ms. Pelosi is going maintain current funding levels for the Iraq war like she said yesterday, when is it going to end? You can have all the hearings and subpoenas you want, but they aren't going bring our troops home in the near term. Defunding the Iraq war will.

8. What about New Orleans?
But when are they going to help New Orleans? They have not said a word, made a plan, sent a dollar, nothing. NOLA Needs Help Now.

10. He has a link there about fraudulent contracts related to Katrina.

That's saying a word or two at least.
