What is the argument against voting rights in DC?
Edited on Thu Jan-11-07 07:07 PM by EdwardM
It has been decades now, and there still is no House or Senate representation for DC. What is the reason for it? I'm a little young, so I don't know the full history, but I can't think of any reason to keep a tax paying Americans from having national representation. What are the arguments the anti DC-voters use to keep DC from voting? I've never heard anyone speak out against voting in DC, and I can't think of any valid reasons. Are the reasons there still is no voting in DC racial?
