talking to herself. She was grilled beyond any expectation she ever anticipated. I have a feeling, and I do know how a girl feels, she's gonna walk. I wouldn't bet because that wouldn't be right, but..... She's done her share of lying, covering, inventing and babysitting. She's had enough, she knows her credibility is shot. Teaching piano would be better than putting up with this crap. Ain't no man worth putting up with this. I would say by March 1, '07, she will resign to pursue other endeavors...

Edited to change date to 3/1/07. Sorry about that.

4. She's going to spend more time with her family.
Secretary of State? What's that?

Freaking Secretary of State. That's nothing to her.

All she was ever hired to do was lie.

Doubt me? Let's list her lies.

14. We don't have the friggin' bandwidth for that...
Mark it down. She will be remembered as the most stunningly incompetent Cabinet Officer in the history of the Republic. She had no business being named National Security Adviser, far less Secretary of State. Her specialty was the Soviet Union, which in 2006 is pretty much like hiring a blacksmith to overhaul your fuel-injected engine.

5. This seems to be the rumor
I heard Juan Williams predict as much last Saturday on NPR. This seems to be the prevailing explanation as to why Negroponte would accept the Deputy SOS post, so that he could move into position when Condi exits.
