I know this would really upset a great many here but IMO the next President and VP
will be Hillary with Obama as her VP. I think they will not only be the duo to beat but actually be unbeatable. Women want a woman President...badly...and Obama is a very smart man and will realize he would be better off running as VP with only a single term as Senator under his belt. I can hear all the moans and groans now but this is what I believe will come to pass. I don't say whether it is my choice or not only my belief...I also believe no matter what my own druthers are the country will be much better off under their leadership...I feel the heat from the flame guns already...:shrug:

Hillary Clinton is not a leader. What does she stand for? What has she really done to move this country forward?

I, for one, will not be voting for her in the primaries, but let the people decide, and we can revisit this in a year or more and see if you're right.

6. I'm a woman and don't necessarily want a woman for prez.
I appreciate Clinton's smarts, but would like her to declare where she stands on this war. What's taking her so long? She's too involved in testing the waters to say what's right or politically correct instead of speaking from her gut. I'm not impressed.

Why isn't there a flame-gun smillie? A smillie can puke, but not fire a flame-gun?

I don't think Hilary will get the nomination. I do think a woman will be on the ticket though, with Sebelius and Napolitano at the top of the list.

Hillary nor Obama will find their way onto the ticket. Hillary is too polarizing. The right doesn't just hate her. They obsessively hate her. They would work with the media to assure that the swiftboating Kerry endured would turn into something on a much larger scale more like swiftoceanlinering. As for Obama, his middle name unfortunately is Hussein. I would imagine the media would almost immediately take to calling him Vice Presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama, just in case people didn't hear it the first time.

I fail to see how that ticket could win an electoral victory. Sorry.

The question is pending as to whether America wants a woman prez. Have you forgotten HRC's high negatives for the past few years?
For your hypothetical ticket to float, you could just as easily reverse the characters and have the same accuracy.
It really is too soon. So much could happen. Candidates flame out - ask Dr Dean.
But, ya better watch that good lookin fella from North Carolina since we're playing these guessing games.

16. I am not sure why this was posted; however, I believe that Hillary
would be a good president and that Obama needs more experience before he runs. We have a plethora od good candidates. I support full-speed-ahead whomever you fellow dems choose. Hillary actually has been a first-class senator for New York; she has taken on tough assignments; she has suffered enormously at the hands of the Pugs. I also think that after Bush, many will be ready for another Clinton. Having said that, I also love Clark, Edwards and especially Gore.
