BitTorrent Piracy Site wants to buy the micronation of Sealand
More wacky Swedes

The Pirate Bay, the Swedish BitTorrent piracy site that's always been hungry for a little more living space, has set up a site to buy oil platform micronation Sealand. While this is getting a fair bit of press, it's important to note that this is the second nation TPB has tried to take over.

* Swedes, the noted exhibitionists of Europe, overwhelmingly support highly invasive surveillance. No word yet on whether the results will be available on a subscription website.

* Which leaves the only alternative for a people who love being investigated and file-sharing all at once: Get your computer struck by lightning. The case against Ivar Wenster, the cultural minister that admitted that he pirated copyrighted works to the Swedish press last year, has been dropped. Seems his computer is damaged to the point where forensics isn't possible.
