Rush Limpballs: "House Republicans settling in for 40 yrs of minority and Obama talks in cliques."
Not that this shit makes sense or it really means anything but I was listening to him and he was going on about House Republicans and how the Republicans has there leadership meeting today and the majority or Republicans are not real giddy of trying to get the majority back since the voters voted in a Democrat majority(he never in the time I was listening say Democratic just Democrat) and how the people wanted Nancy Pelosi as Speaker and not keep things the status quo, they talked like how most of them are settleing in for a longtime minority in the Democrat Congress.

Then Limbaugh went on to discuss Democrat Senator from Illinois Barack Obama and how he filed paper for the Presidency he basically said the Obama dosen't fool me or the american with the big words he says and how he talks in cliques, he also got very pissed at the Junior Senator from Illinois when answering questions outside a suburban chicago church he told reporters that the chicago bears will crush the New Orleans Saints in the NFL Playoffs saying that there dreams will get crushed. My god did Rush throw a fit, I mean literally he had a cow, going on to say that Obama had not right to bash "americas team" that there were no New Orleans Saints that after this city's city and economy were destroyed it was the americas team and if Mr. Obama wants to be President he shouldn't say things like that.

First off, STFU Rush the Saints are not "americas team" just because there city was destroyed dosen't mean it's americas team and as for Obama's comment well you should know he's from the Chicago area and who do Chicago resident root for in football, hmmm....THE BEARS so of course he would say something like that cause he wants his team to win and go on to take the super bowl and running for Prez dosen't change his love for the game or the Bears.

God are GOP talking points are alive and well, as of 1/4/07 the Democratic Party died and the Democrat Party was born.

1. Great description. Rush waving the NOLA flag as solidarity and patriotism is stunning.
I hope Media Matters or someone else caught it.

That's great :kick: MKJ

2. Well, I'm rooting for the Saints
but since Obama actually lives in Chicago, who the hell is he supposed to root for? This is one of the lamest talking points ever. Really. I saw Hillary Clinton in Wrigley Field wearing a Cub hat because her father is from Chicago or some crap like that, but then when she became the Junior Senator from NY, she had a Yankees cap on. Who cares? Can either one of them govern? I think so, and what team they root for has no bearing on it at all. Limbaugh is just grasping at straws on this one.

Do you mean to report that he speaks in "cliches" instead of "cliques"?

7. Wouldn't surprise me if he was saying that Obama talks in "clicks"
like "The Gods Must Be Crazy" ... the "backward" tribesman (African) talked with a bunch of clicks and whistles ... a subtle insult, yet again ...

4. Rush was just busting NO's chops. He's a sick, vicious bastard.
He hasn't an ounce of decency in that fat, flaccid body of his.

10. I swear, you'd think such hypocrisy would make someone pass out or something
bush played a fiddle while NO drowned, and then spent days prancing in front of cameras as if he really gave a ****. They, the bush admin, didn't do crap until they were pushed by public outcry. Americans dying from lack of action, and the government, there to protect and serve them, frolic. And I'm sure rushbo was among those defending the regime's handling of the disaster. I'm sure the whole event was about someone stealing a tv for rush and the gang. And what the hell do "these people" want anyway.

And now this bigmouth piece (of ****) for the right wants to designate the Saints as "America's Team?"

With all due respect, fuck you, rushbo.

14. That clown apparently has his lunatic assistants listening to alleged "lefty" radio hosts.
Lynn Samuels, on SiriusLeft, has gibbered on and on, starting weeks ago, about her belief that Barak Obama only speaks in chiches, is very superficial, etc., etc., etc.

As soon as I saw your post and the news that smelly bastard Limbaugh, who mocks sick people, has announced Barak Obama speaks in cliches, it didn't take any deep thought to know where he got it.

I noted that strange observation coming from Lynn Samuels, and attributed it to her general state of mental collapse. She and Alex Bennett do a grotesque job pretending to be seasoned Democratic radio personalities. They aren't any help whatsoever in that capacity, and do more harm than good. They need to be fired as quickly as possible.

Stealing lines from other show hosts, as Rush apparently does, is to be expected from him, but would be considered downright ugly from others!

{Does anyone else grow weary as Alex Bennett discusses the life of his lower torso and all his bowel movement information day in, day out, INSTEAD OF PERFORMING HIS ASSIGNED JOB, AND ACTING LIKE AN INTELLIGENT MAN HIRED BY SIRIUS LEFT? Not left toilet news, not left information about his views on women, but POLITICAL TALK. Same with Lynn Samuels. She's really not quite the little old fascinator she imagines she is. Nope, we don't listen to find out her views of entertainment personalities, nor movies, songs, etc. Just the facts, mam.)

15. I listen to Sirius lefs when i'm in the car every day
And i'm still figureing out why he's on there, it's a political channel and he discusses everything but and i agree with you when he talks about sex and his dick i want to throw up cause this shit is coming from a guy thats old enough to be my granddaddy.

As for samuels, well I HATE HER all she does is bash Democrats for what there not doing in Congress, and she annoying and I can't stand her thick brooklyn accent, not good for radio cause in radio you got to have a "voice" and ma'am she just dosen't cut the mustard.

In my mind, the only radio personalities I recgonize on Sirius left 146 is Bill Press, Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller and my fucking hero Mr. Mike Malloy.

19. Couldn't agree with you more. Hope we'll get lucky & they'll lose those 2 idiots.
Edited on Wed Jan-17-07 04:52 AM by Judi Lynn
It would be doing EVERYONE who turns to Sirius Left for political information if they allowed Thom Hartmann's show to run its actual length during the daytime.

If they had to keep those two mutants, they could simply shorten each one's crappy show by one hour, giving them BACK to Hartmann, and we'd have at least one decent show during that part of the day.

On edit: Better yet, why not put the two sideshow freaks on before Bill Press, leaving his show to precede Thom Hartmann's. That would be more humane.

21. I couldn't agree with you more
When i'm listening in my car going to college and i'm on left 146 I want to listen to people discuss liberal politics or just politics in general, Alex Bennett rarely discusses it and shouldn't be on the channel, him and Samuels.

And I think it's disgusting that they only air the 1st hour of Thom's show every day, that man is one of the best talk radio host in my opinion and they only air him for a hour, I say just cancel Lynn Samuels and put Hartmann in her timeslot, no one would even care or notice.

16. Well this New Orleans Saints fan will be voting for Obama if he is the nominee...
And possibly even in the primary as well.

That said, The Bears are going down faster than Rush can pop an Oxycotton.

17. ...
He talks in cliques? What does that mean?

If he said it the way the OP wrote it...clique is a language used in parts of Africa by the more rural groups. If Rush said it that way (I'd have to hear it)...then I would consider it a very racial comment. But hey, it's Rush Limbaugh and it wouldn't be the first time he said something racial.
