Regarding Repukes comparing Bush favorably to Lincoln ...
If Lincoln were to have known that such a mental deficient would have been lovingly compared to him, he would have, after puking his guts out, saved Booth the trouble and put a bullet in his own head to avoid the shame ...

1. The only comparison to Lincoln with Bush is Lincoln was rumored to be homosexual

3. Is there really any rumor that Bush is Gay
or is this just a continuation of the "everyone we don't like must be gay" smear that's been getting constant play around here?

8. No, I'm getting an impression from all the rumors of powerful
Neo-Conservatives that SOME are Bi-Sexual. Guessing on a slightly flip level that they are so aggressive and arrogant that they DEMAND "the best of all lifestyles."

6. That's insulting....
...to gay people everywhere. I'm sure if they thought for a minute that Bush came out of the closet, they would, as a mass, grab ahold of him and shove him back in.

7. That may be true, but he was devoted (and loved) his wife Mary Todd.
I don't think the same devotion is given by Dear Leader to his "Pickles."

It's rumored that he suffered from bouts of clinical depression. Those experiences seemingly humbled Lincoln, if not making him a more compassionate leader. However, if there's one diagnosis within the DSM-IV Bush 43 is, IMO, free and clear of, it's Clinical Depression.

2. Naw, Abe was pretty good about considering the source
And one look at the slack-jawed mouthbreathers making the comparison would have elicited a thoughtful, yet pithy comment from Mr. Lincoln about a man being accurately measured by the quality of his supporters, or some such sentiment.

9. The Lincoln being gay (that I have read) was based on the fact that he shared a bed with another man
But, in the context of the time, they said this was not uncommon. I really don't care if Lincoln was gay or not. He was a wonderful president.

Bush is not gay, he's a drunk idiotic lunatic.

11. Oh Bullshit
Lincoln nearly single handedly kept the Union together and won one of the bloodiest wars in history.

Bush spent most of his life snorting cocaine and buying shitty sports teams.

They couldn't possibly be more similar.
