New MoveOn.org tv ad: The "McCain plan" to escalate the war. Wow.
Just ran in DC area. Powerful. All the pics of McCain and * together...laying the strategy in McCain's lap - picking up very nicely on John Edwards' initial idea. This is a winning theme against the Rethug frontrunner. Very effective ad.

9. It's a great ad, but isn't it too early to be running attack ads?
I think it makes more sense to save money for the presidential election now and wait until a repug wins the presidential nomination to start spending money on airing attack ads. I loved the ad though, it's ads like that we need on the Iraq War issue about whoever wins the repug presidential nomination, because that's sure to be one of the biggest weaknesses about whoever they nominate.
