have any of you C-Span junkies (like me) noticed that our House is
starting to sound more and more like the English Parliament during "Prime Minister's Questions"

They are loud and rowdy and no more of this "My distinguished colleague" and "The Gentle Lady from California"

instead they are calling each other 'disingenuous" and demands for said remarks to be 'taken down'

it's getting darned entertaining over there

Next they'll be throwing punches like in Taiwan

4. The Aussie parliament's hilarious. They abuse each other up hill and down dale!
I mean the insults are somewhat colourful; very slangy.

6. Or shoes! Can you picture Pelosi bopping someone with one of her pumps?
I agree, it is getting pretty interesting in there. I usually watch the Senate more closely, but lately have found the House a bit more lively.

8. OK, I'm home and I've turned on C-Span. What did I miss?
Why the appeal of the ruling of the chair? Are the Repukes trying to thwart passage of the Congressional Pensions & Crimes in Office bill?

10. Very disorderly today
Lots of shouting and I even heard applause earlier - strange. What happened to the "pension removal for being a criminal in office" bill? I guess this is what started the brauhaha.

12. I can answer my own question
The vote on the "criminal/pension removal bill" will take place tomorrow. I think I heard earlier that 11 members were absent due to plane and weather problems.

13. They are rolling the bill until later,
There were weather related air traffic problems that prevented some of the Reps from getting back to Wash. in time for the vote.

11. The Republicans as part of a minority party are pure entertainment!
Whining about the large number of bills they are having to deal with (they are on #9).

Gee Boehner, I thought the purpose of U.S. Representatives was to LEGISLATE.

Now Vernon Ehlers (R - Michigan) whining about introducing bills "out of order." Awwww, nobody took the bill to committee. Cry me a river...
