Hearts and Minds in the Democratic Party

Simplistically, I see this shaping up as a battle between the Progressive/Populists/Civil Libertarians/Environmentalists vs
the DLC/Oligarchs/Triangulated/Corporatists

guess which side I come down on?

My flagbearers are Feingold, Edwards, Kucinich, Dean, Kennedy, Boxer,Kerry, Conyers, Gore et al

I see the other side represented most of all by HRC, followed by Obama,Biden

( I don't know enough about Vilsack or Richardson to place them.)

I know my which way my heart flows, but I am going to try very very hard to keep an open mind and listen to how everyone responds about ISSUES. I want specifics. I want detail. I will not be swayed by vagueness and hedging.

My heart can change my mind and make me irrational. My mind can change my heart and make me dispirited.
It would be great if my heart and mind could agree on a single candidate.
