5. he has been since the day Bush decided to invade.
He supported IWR as a way to get into Iraq for weapons inspections and diplomacy.

He objected loudly to Bush's DECISION to go to war but media only stuck with the storyline that IWR = war. IWR did not take this country to war - Bush violating the IWR guidelines took this country to war.

He has tried to keep Iraq withdrawal in the public arena for almost two years now.

8. At long, long last --
He becomes the statesman he always could have been, was meant to be perhaps. I read the statement with sadness. He may or may not have been my candidate this time if he ran again (he wasn't last time tho I most certainly voted for him), but I am sincerely sad to see him drop out, and so early.

I have to say I am deeply moved by that statement, and his plans.

10. This may be why he isn't running
I'm glad he is fighting this fight, and will support him all the way. But not having to worry about how his words will be twisted in the presidential fight will make him much more effective.

.. for the job he is taking on. I wish him every success.

I heard him on NPR this morning, asking how we can believe the prosecutors of this "war" when they have been wrong at every turn.

He is exactly correct and I hope he keeps talking.
