NPR - why have thou forsaken me?
Edited on Sat Jan-27-07 10:16 AM by bluerum
NPR is sliding, sliding over the RW water boy edge.

I listened in disgust as they aired this crap last night. In my my mind the commentator comes out and says, we are in Iraq for the oil. It has always been the oil, and it will always be the oil.

Anti-war activists came out and said this over 3 years ago and they were called unpatriotic and liars and what have you. No air time of course.

Now NPR airs this guy saying of course it's the oil. It has always been the oil, and it is patriotic to want their oil because it is in our national interest.

Well,,, anyway, it points up in a very clear way how the administrations supporters did not believe the hogwash they spewed to justify the war in the build-up to military action. They did however, see the need to keep their mouths shut until we were so far in that there was no way out.

War for Oil Commentator on NPR

BTW - look what was on the NPR home page this morning as I looked for the link to the story... what a nice picture of the Limp one. Up to his same old crap as well.

edit:punct.

because they do not air the All Things Considered crap. A little news at the top of the hour then on to the important stuff - music of all kinds.

I was jumped off the NPR bandwagon when it seemed like ATC banned Nina Totenberg from the legal affairs/supreme court/political correspondent position, and installed some simpering incompetents.

They bit off their nose to spite their face with that move. She is the best on that beat.

2. Yesterday NPR had some right wing author on spewing forth.
I just about upchucked while I was driving.

4. NPR started drifting to the right even before Bush took office
It's just gotten much worse and far less disguised now.

By the way, that should be "hast thou" instead of "have thou".
