Or March 08', or probably April 08'....good chance in fact it might go all the way to the convention.

Conventional wisdom? No, but it's my hunch. I think with so many running it's going to be hard for any candidate to get enough electoral votes to lock things up early.

Call me crazy.

2. Did you happen to catch Howard Fineman of Newsweek's appearance on Hardball earlier this week?
He reported that Hillary went to all of her NY “funders” and told them to “ONLY donate to her campaign”.

If Hillary’s going around choking off funds to other candidates, how could anyone else have a chance? Theis may be over before it begins.

3. I don't think it will be either.
This time around we have a DNC chairman who knows what he's doing AND who knows first hand how harmful a forced front-loaded primary is to the party.

4. Hard to say. It's not just money, it's debates. It's grassroots, it's organization.
But if a frontrunner craps out in the debates, that's the kiss of death. If a newcomer shines like a beacon, it's a whole new ball game.

Too many variables to predict. It could go on for awhile, or it could be a done deal early. I think we'll have a few peel off and drop by the wayside before the decision is made, though.

5. It's Al Gore's To Lose
If and when he enters, he'll be the one to actually beat.

I predict he'll prove to be Ms. Clinton's toughest competition before the primaries are done, and he'll win the nomination going away.

6. The Repiglican Media Wants To MAKE SURE that Hillary Wins the Nomination…
…because they know they can destroy her in the general election.

8. My prediction
No one candidate has a lock on nomination at convention time.
Then, at the convention,Al throws his hat in the ring.

9. I've been thinking that both GOP and Democratic conventions will be brokered
It would be completely historic, but I think there might be that possibility.

As an article in The Nation alerts:
"...a brokered convention--that favorite tactic of the old political bosses in which no one candidate wins enough delegates and backroom deals are needed to break the logjam."

10. Maybe if the DLC stays out of it
which they won't. There were TWELVE candidates in '04 , including an insurgent front runner in all the polls. It was over by Feb. This was the design for the campaign. The same design that forbade Kerry or anyone from mentioning GWB or responding to the Swift Boat Liars.

I see no indication that that has changed, although Hillary's guy MacAuliffe may have a new plan this go- round since he was unhappy with the whole DLC game plan last time.
