Now that’s a headline. The Seattle Times on Sat. Feb 3, ran an editorial supporting Constitutional rights. Yeah, so what’s the catch you ask? “Mainstream Media” really means “Propaganda Tool of the Neocon Corporatists (read fascists). Bingo you are right again.
The Times editorial supports Constitutional rights for corporations, of course. The title line reads, “Free Speech – For Companies, Too.”
The Times editors turn blind eyes to the government reading our mail, reading our emails, reading our financial records, listening to our phone calls, breaking into our homes, all without legal warrants or other oversight. They turn blind eyes to the government arresting us without habeas corpus rights. They turn blind eyes when the government arrests American citizens and tortures us and imprisons us without any representation. They turn blind eyes when women and children are imprisoned in a Taylor Texas interment camp (read concentration camp).
The Seattle Times editors eyes are on the bottom line, corporate profits.
The editors in the article expressed concern about pending state legislation that would impede companies in their quest to squash unions. The bottom line again, corporate profits.
The Seattle Times is a Propaganda tool for the Neocon Corporatists aka. “Main Stream Media”. Isn't that what you said at the beginning?
