Robert Reich: Where is America Going?
I can't post this in the video section because it isn't hosted on YouTube, but it is a very good talk given by Robert Reich on among other subjects globalization. I like it because it challenges alot of the knee-jerk reactionary attitudes on globalization while not dismissing the real consequences.

Robert Reich, former Secretary of Labor and now Professor of Public Policy at UC Berkeley, looks ahead at US economic trends , the impact of globalization, and future job prospects in this "Homecoming" address to parents of UC students. Reich doesn't promise perfect clairvoyance, but he does provide a way to think about the politico-economic issues that will shape this century.

This was sent to me by a friend who is one of Secretary Reich's students at Berkeley and attended the talk in person.

2. Robert Reich is a brilliant man!
I saw this show on UCTV.

Robert Reich's clarity of thought and articulation is unsurpassed in my opinion. He really demonstrates an understanding of how the world works, and does it in such a way as to make it delightful to listen to him.

Everytime I hear him I wish he was a presidential candidate.

3. I like him better than any of the alternatives,
unfortunately he really doesn't have a base, he is one of about three American institutional liberals.

4. Nobody has a base to start.
One has to throw the hat in the ring, and then start talking about plans.

With Reich's charisma, his popularity would grow rapidly.

There is one sad part in this video... he defends NAFTA.
