It's a pretty well controlled experiment because the producers have managed to duplicate all other factors and simply reverse the point of view to see if that's the only difference between the right and left. There has long been a thread in right-wing rhetoric that all political debate is a matter of equally justified opinions. They usually trot that one out when they've been proven wrong about some issue.
The result nonetheless fails to make fun of anything real about Sen. Obama save the truly debatable prospect of his inevitable nomination. The other jokes are about his body odor (WTF?) and his lack of accomplishment, though he has actually accomplished quite a bit in a short time. I think political humor is funny if it's based on the truth, even if in a surreal way. As a liberal Democrat who admires Sen. Obama, I should've felt stung by those jokes even if I didn't find them funny but they don't really sting.

It's true: right wing republicans are so caught up in their venomous hatred of "the other" (Commies, Liberals, Democrats, Gays, Atheists, Humanists, Unions, etc) that they can NOT lighten up enough to produce quality satire.

A beautiful truism is revealed in this smashing :eyes: FOX show. Even Dennis Miller is better than this crap. Oh, wait? I wonder if, in a last ditch effort, if they'll snag THAT comedy whore to appear? :rofl:

Most of their viewers are over the age of 54. This show is supposed to attract young people.

I didn't find anything funny about this show. Rather they were insulting Obama. of course that is what they seem to be good at as they have not one funny bone in their systems.
