From the NPR site:

Charting Iraq Progress: Security, Electricity, Oil

Morning Edition, February 16, 2007 · As President Bush seeks to measure success in Iraq, key areas of focus are the development of Iraqi security forces, electrical output and oil production. How are things going in those areas? Michael O'Hanlon, director of the Iraq Index Project at the Brookings Institution, gives Steve Inskeep a status update.

Bush mentioned in his recent embarrassing press conference that Iraq needs time to achieve certain benchmarks. Michael O'Hanlon of the Brookings Institution had been interviewed last year about the same metrics and benchmarks that Iraq needed to achieve. This interview shows that nothing has improved, if only has gotten worse.

1. I heard that and was impressed, but then on another story,
the only congressman interviewed were lieberman and
some other republican. Then Diane Rheeme has a reporter
from the washington times on as one of her pundits.
