and it's easy to see where the truth lies.

Chavez is on a mission, and it's a joy to watch.

3. When President Chavez stood up at the UN and gave his speech...
My heart just went out to him and I was so proud of him... I think I stood at home and clapped for probably 3 minutes...... He is a great man, and I believe that time will prove him to be one of the greatest leaders in the world.... I certainly know that I would be voting that way.... I love him... Can't say any more about the man.... You rock Mr. President...

11. There was absolutely no sarcasm meant... I absolutely love Hugo
Chavez..... and I am not messing with your mind here... I think if you were to go far enough back in my posting history, you would see that..... He is a great man, and I wish that he were heading my country for sure. The US Govt. may have issues with him, but I know that neither I nor the Venezuelan people do... He really believe that he will truly be a leader that will go down in history as one of the best... Sorry that I disappointed you on this issue.....

12. I'm sorry
I'm going to delete the last post. I must have mistook you for someone else.

Thanks for the clarification.... :hi:

It would be nice if we had an American version of Chavez in power...

8. Just finished watching it
Even though I knew how it ended, it was still very exciting.

Can you imagine the blood bath that would have ensued if it had be gw bush instead of Hugo Chavez?

How about if ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX had organized the coup the way the Venezuelan private tv stations did.

They would have had to build 100 prisons to hold us all...

14. The big thing about the movie... there are no surprises.. Because we..
all know what is in the President's heart... (sorry, speaking for everyone.... shouldn't be doing that) but I think that I know what is in his heart... and it certainly is not getting his people killed without a cause... ie: Not getting them killed via a preemptive strike on a nation....

16. There are a lot of clues
as to what is in Hugo Chavez' heart. It's in this book:

Chavez - Venezuela and the New Latin America -- An interview with Hugo Chavez by Aleida Guevara.

It includes the AMAZING story of how he helped build the Bolivarian Consensus in Venezuela and how he handled his captivity during the coup.

I came away from this book with great admiration for his intelligence, knowledge and chutzpa.
