If People Are Still Dumping On Bill Clinton For Pardoning Marc Rich......
and this is so after the fact - 6 or 7 years later.

So why can't we be more effective in twarting a pardon of Libby by *.

Let's be pro-active and lay out the issues before he pardon's Libby - so as to make it harder for him to do - or - so that he gets a lot of criticism and bad press if he does it.

Pre-emptive attacks on a potential pardon - for the outing of Plame/perjury conviction - and to cover up the conspiracy in the WH to discredit Joe and Valerie - so they could lie us into and justify this occupation in Iraq.

Let's be pro-active for once.

2. I Realize That - But That Is Not The Point I'm Making.......
the talking heads of cable news are already predicting a pardon of Libby by *. For God's sake he hasn't even been convicted yet and they are giving him a 'get out of jail free' card.

Look what this whole Libby thing is about. Lying us into a war. People have been killed. Money has been squandered.

And we are just going to sit back and let * pardon Libby?

I say "no".

If he is ultimately going to pardon Libby - let's at least make it hard for him to justify.

We need to be pro-active and show what * is shoving under the rug by a pardon.

Even though we have a Clinton running - the Marc Rich pardon is old news and it is rearing its ugly head. It is an attempt to make it hard on Hillary. It's old news.

A Libby pardon on the other hand is being considered as I type this in response to you. Can't we make enough noise about a potential pardon - to make *Co look more treasonous? That's all I'm saying. Why give them a pass.
