1. Never give up
Would you have thought two years ago that we would be where we are today?

2. I don't see much interest here on DU...which is odd considering how
most of us feel about Fox's influence all these years. Amazing. Maybe many DU'ers have changed their opinion on Fox and feel we must use them as an ally. I thought we tried that before with debates and it didn't work out.

3. Well, I can tell you why, I think.
One very influential powerful Democrat has been apparently meeting with and having fundraising with Rupert Murdoch who owns Fox. That might make one wonder. I read that Fox offered all this to the Nevada Democratic party without charge to carry it throughout the state, and I think its local affiliates.

Pretty big incentive to dance with the devil.

Also a certain chairman put a damper on things by openly taking the party side against MoveOn and Greenwald projects. He is chairman of the whole party so he had to do it. Wish he had not.

So I guess Fox is ok, now.

Well, except maybe not ok for Obama.

4. But shouldn't we keep the pressure on by signing the petitions?
 After all...we Dem voters and activists are entitled to the same respect the Repugs give their activists? No?

5. I think so.
But I feel like someone threw cold water on my face.

He says if the party backs down that makes us terrorists. Well, he doesn't need to worry, they won't back down...but as Matt says it ain't over.
