39. It isn't a Repub site. The Freepers just found it and hacked it.
It had been a pro-veteran site that kept tabs on Senators.

This poll has turned useless now that the hackers on either side have turned it into a game. The site has been around for a long time, but the successful hacking only started last week.

36. I'm almost motivated now to write a PERL poll stuffer!
Where we could just automate say 100 submissions for one senator (like Feingold) to see if we can amp him up to the top. I'm guessing that one of these freepers might have already written a bot for the other direction.

8. How in the world did Libby "Vapor" Dole
get so near the top?

Anyway, the pictures brought to mind this gem:

Let's not lose sight that we do have control in the Senate and in 2008, it's going to get even better!

Republicans.

Seems the freepers have found the site.

26. I saw it yesterday
and if memory serves me well, the top 5 were -
Webb, Obama, Tester, Feingold, Kerry

I gave Kerry all 6s - and didn't vote on the others, not wanting to vote them down, but wanting to favor Kerry. That why these open ended vote as often as you want internet polls mean nothing - who won 2006?

15. It's really time consuming...
My favorite Senator, Bernie Sanders! If we had 60 Bernie Sanders' it would be a wonderful world.

At least they've got lieberman at the bottom! Of course, most of the Dems have had NO votes registered for them.

It's a pretty lame poll....

23. Proof that this is a wingnut site:
"Rank the top 100 U. S. Senators on the basis of four criteria: Integrity, honor, dignity and character"

How many senators do they think we have? Who are their bottom 100?

25. It was the opposite way until today
They obviously have a program that voted down all the Democrats. In fact the reason that Kerry is the highest of the Democrats is likely not that they like him best - but that he personally was freeped several times before - and was voted back up - meaning that he had way more votes already cast for him.

28. That wasn't my point.
My point was that they say the "top 100 senators". There are only 100 senators. So if they're the top 100, who are the rest of the senators? Saying top 100 implies that there are more than 100.
