Suppose the Dem nomination is wrapped up before your state's primary...
Edited on Thu Mar-01-07 05:40 PM by jefferson_dem
...the Repuke's are still battling, and your state has an open primary system.

Would this be reason enough to grab a filthy repuke ballot and cast a strategic vote? --->

The cretin sure would be "easy pickins" in the General.

1. Don't be so sure
Newt has a shot. He's the Anti-Hilary, and if Hilary does get the nom, expect the mother of all battles if these two go head to head.

2. As of now, (eye of) Newt's poll numbers make Hillary look like a Saint.

8. Wait till the troglodyte's passions get whipped up by the fundie preachers.
They think Hillary's just this side of the anti-Christ.

3. Exactly the reason why I don't want Hilary to get the nom...
Clinton vs. Gingrich AGAIN?! Will we ever see someone new and unencumbered by a previous administration's baggage step up to the plate?

(Although Gore would be more than OK...)

5. Shoot yeah. I know many people think Rudy would be a piece of cake but I'm not
because he has the potential to do well with independents and even some democrats. That is what the Lieberman election in CT taught if we don't do well with independents and can't get most of the democrats we will lose.

6. I would have thought Bush easier than McCain
and NJ was always late. I would feel real guilty if I had voted for him in the primary - which Gore sewed up very early - against my former Senator. It also just seems sleasy and someone might see me voting Republican.

7. I wouldn't dare vote for Newt in the primary.
Unfortunately, I'm not at all convinced that he would lose in the general election.:scared:
