that will just fuck up the cocktail hour for the republics. Christ they don't die and we have to deal with the embarrassment to the president of the mess we created at Walter Reed and the one's who do die require us to feign respect and act all christian and shit. Its hard being a republican congressman in the 21st century. AT 4:00 in the afternoon? When people will be watching? What a shame.

Thanks for the info Monkeyman!

3. Good - Put names on them. They not just "soldiers". They're real people,

and we fucked up their lives and the lives of those who love them. I don't know anyone who's died, and yet I cry for all of them.

My younger son (10) usually comes in on Sunday mornings at the end of This Week (whatever it's called - on ABC). He & I watch the list of soldiers who died that week, and I boohoo a little, mainly because most of them are young enough to be one of mine. It really bothers him when someone's on the list who was only 18 or 19. That means they were younger than his big brother (older son is 20), and he says it's not right that they're taken away when they're so young.

On edit - Thanks for the info. I'll be watching for it.
